Price per mg: how to compare peptide vials of different sizes
A $19.80 10 mg vial and a $30.00 20 mg vial are not the same deal. Price per mg makes them comparable.
Vendors sell the same peptide in several vial sizes, and the larger vial is almost always cheaper per milligram. Price per mg is the price after code divided by the total milligrams in the vial. A $19.80 10 mg vial is $1.98/mg; a $30.00 20 mg vial is $1.50/mg.
What PeptideTech counts
Per-mg prices use the after-code price and exclude shipping. Blends such as KLOW or BPC-157 / TB-500 are compared by total price, because the components are not interchangeable. Capsule products, SARMs and bacteriostatic water are also compared by total price.
When per mg is the wrong measure
If a lab only needs a small amount, the cheaper per-mg vial can still cost more in total. Shipping thresholds also change the arithmetic: Crush Research ships free on US orders over $200, which can make a larger order cheaper per vial than a smaller one elsewhere.
Using the toggle
Every product page with two or more mg-denominated sizes has a Total / Per mg toggle above the price table. The Cheapest per mg page ranks every product by the lowest in-stock per-mg price across all vendors.
