doses of AOD-9604 used in research
Not approved; the human data are six Metabolic Pharmaceuticals trials (about 900 adults) reported only in a pooled safety paper outside PubMed (J Endocrinol Metab 2013), using oral doses of 0.25-54 mg and single IV infusions; the report includes no subcutaneous dosing. These are the amounts specific labels and studies used, linked to each source. They are references, not recommendations; a prescription label takes priority.

| Phase 2b METAOD006: 1 mg oral daily for 24 weeks (largest trial) phase 2 trial · 2013 · doi:10.4021/jem157w | 502 randomized obese adults, BMI 30-45 | 1 mg once daily 24 weeks (after a 4-week placebo run-in) Arms were 0.25, 0.5 and 1 mg oral tablets daily vs placebo; 1 mg was the highest. The source is a pooled safety report by sponsor-affiliated authors and is not indexed in PubMed. The route is oral, which differs from the catalogue's injectable vial. | oral |

10 units on a U-100 syringe is 0.1 mL. Every cell is exact arithmetic: amount ÷ water.
what the numbers mean · where they come from
terms and sources
- Label amount or measured amount. The calculator starts from the amount printed on the vial. A lot certificate’s measured content (net peptide content, in mg) can replace it for the vial that was tested. HPLC purity is a share of peak area, not a mass, so a purity-only correction is shown as an estimate. See HPLC, certificate of analysis and how to read a peptide COA.
- Concentration. Amount in the vial ÷ water added. Terms: reconstitution, bacteriostatic water, lyophilized.
- Syringe units. A volume: 0.01 mL per unit on a U-100 syringe, 0.025 mL on U-40. Units say nothing about the compound until the concentration is known.
- Cost per draw. Vial price × amount per draw ÷ vial amount, from the price per mg of a current offer. Offers come from the AOD-9604 price comparison; certificates from the COA library.
Arithmetic only, on the numbers entered. Amounts from labels or trials are cited references, not recommendations; PeptideTech does not give personal use instructions and does not test products.
