Terms of sale

Updated 2026-11-06 · PeptideTech editorial

Version 2026-11-06.4. These terms apply to orders placed through PeptideTech Checkout. An order placed in a supplier’s own store, including from a link on this site, is under that supplier’s terms. Please read the arbitration section: it affects how disputes are resolved, and you can opt out.

Who you are dealing with

The site and PeptideTech Checkout are run by peptidetech.is, contact cs@peptidetech.is (“PeptideTech”, “we”). Each order is a separate contract between you and the independent store named on it (the “Seller”). PeptideTech runs the marketplace and checkout software and adds the store credit below. It is not the seller of the goods, does not manufacture, store, test, pack or ship them, and never holds title to or possession of them. Title and risk of loss pass from the Seller to you on delivery to the address you gave at checkout.

Research use and eligibility

Products sold through PeptideTech Checkout are offered for laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary use. By checking out you confirm that you are at least 18 and able to contract, that you are buying for that purpose, that neither you nor anyone you supply will give a product to a person or animal, that you will not resell it as fit for such use, and that you may lawfully buy it and receive it where it is delivered. These products are not approved by the FDA. A Seller or PeptideTech may refuse or cancel an order if anything suggests otherwise. The site and its contents are for research use only and informational purposes only.

Where we deliver

PeptideTech Checkout does not deliver to Iceland, to any other country of the European Economic Area, or to Cuba, Iran, North Korea or Syria. It takes orders for the places a Seller quotes outside those, which can include the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. This limit is on checkout: other pages of this site can be read anywhere, some are written for shoppers in the EU, and their links lead to suppliers’ own stores under those suppliers’ terms.

What each Seller is responsible for

The Seller is responsible for its goods: their identity, quality, labelling, certificates of analysis, stock, packing, dispatch and delivery, and for the rules it ships under. Prices, shipping services and tax are the Seller’s, quoted live for your address. Each Seller ships its own parcel, so one order can arrive as several. Seller warranties, if any, are the Seller’s own. PeptideTech reads and displays certificates that Sellers publish. PeptideTech does not test products. Certificates of analysis are the seller’s or the lab’s documents, attributed to them, and PeptideTech does not verify them unless a specific record says so. A grade or certificate shown on this site is not a warranty by PeptideTech.

What Sellers receive

To fill your order, each Seller in it receives your name, shipping address, email, phone if you gave one, and what you bought from it. The Seller handles that data as an independent business. It may use it only to fill and support your order and meet its legal duties, and may not market to you on the strength of it without your separate consent.

Price and processing fee

You pay the Sellers’ items, the shipping service you choose and tax, plus a payment processing fee of 5% by card, or 2% plus network cost by crypto, less any store credit you use. The processing fee covers the payment provider and the payouts, and is charged on the amount left after store credit. It is a set rate, not the exact cost: any part those costs do not use is kept by PeptideTech. Separately, each Seller pays PeptideTech a fee of 20% of its total, which comes out of the Seller’s share and is not added to your total.

How payment works

Card, wallet and bank payments are taken by a payment provider on its own page, under that provider’s terms. Crypto payments are USDC or USDT on Polygon, sent to the address shown; another coin or network may not be recoverable. PayGate.to, which each Seller has appointed as its limited agent to receive payment, receives your payment at the checkout deposit address and splits it as shown at checkout, paying each Seller and PeptideTech in USDC when it confirms. Each Seller has authorised that split. Your payment to the checkout deposit address fully discharges what you owe the Seller for the order, and the Seller may not ask you to pay again, even if a payout to the Seller fails. Blockchain transactions are public and final.

All sales are final

All sales through PeptideTech Checkout are final. There are no refunds or returns for any reason, between you and a Seller or between you and PeptideTech, except as “14 days unshipped” below says. Refund and cancellation rights that applicable law requires also remain available.

Shipping

Each Seller must ship within 14 days after your payment. A part of an order has shipped when the carrier has the parcel, as the Seller’s store or tracking reports; PeptideTech does not query carriers. A label or tracking number the carrier never received is not shipment: write to cs@peptidetech.is if tracking shows that. Each Seller ships its own parcel, so one order can arrive as several. Once a part has shipped, it is final, whether or not it has been delivered.

14 days unshipped

If a Seller’s part of your order (a suborder) has not shipped 14 days after your payment, the Seller is responsible for refunding you its total (items, shipping and tax, less any store credit you used), and a refund request opens automatically. A shorter dispatch promise recorded for your order is also enforced. You can ask for help on your order page or at cs@peptidetech.is. PeptideTech passes the request to the Seller and tracks evidence of completion. PayGate cannot automatically return the original payment through this integration, so the Seller must arrange and fund the refund. This does not exclude any responsibility applicable law assigns to PeptideTech. So that you are not left waiting, if the Seller has not refunded you by then, we automatically add store credit for the suborder’s total to your balance, and recover it from the Seller. You do not have to claim it. Staff may extend the 14 days for a specific order, and the new date shows on your order page. You recover once: if the Seller refunds you after credit was added, we remove what is unused and tell you. The applicable share of the processing fee is included in a full cancellation refund. Store credit is additional protection, not a substitute for a required money refund; spent goodwill credit does not automatically reduce that refund.

Store credit

Store credit is recorded against the email address of the order, and against your account once you sign in with that address proven. We email you when it is issued, and your balance and every entry show under “store credit” in your account. It is used at PeptideTech Checkout while signed in, where it reduces what you pay, with any Seller on checkout. It comes out of PeptideTech’s share of the order, so one order can use only as much as that share can carry, which checkout works out for each order and shows you. A payment must also still reach the payment provider’s minimum (at least $5.00). Credit covers part of an order, and the rest stays on your balance. It is not redeemable for cash except where the law requires. In California, a balance under $15 can be cashed out on request to cs@peptidetech.is. It cannot be sold or transferred. It does not expire. If your parcel ships after credit was issued, you keep the credit. PeptideTech may reverse credit issued by mistake or obtained by fraud, or where the Seller refunded you, and a change to these terms does not affect credit already issued.

Getting help

The guarantee runs by itself. If an order was missed, or the date on your order page looks wrong, write to cs@peptidetech.is with your order reference. Replies may come from an AI assistant; staff handle disputes and anything it cannot settle.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a card payment: payouts to Sellers are final on the blockchain, and a chargeback does not reach them by itself. You cannot recover the same money twice: if a chargeback succeeds on a suborder, staff record it, no store credit is issued for it, and credit already issued for it is removed as far as it is unspent. We only learn of a chargeback when the payment provider or you tell us.

Prohibited uses

You may not buy for human or veterinary use, resell products as fit for such use, use false details, falsely report a missing shipment to obtain credit, use the checkout to launder money or evade sanctions or import rules, or interfere with the service. We may refuse or cancel an order and suspend an account for these reasons. Honest reviews and complaints are not restricted by these terms.

Liability

PeptideTech provides the marketplace software and its store credit as described here and does not warrant the goods, which are the Seller’s responsibility. PeptideTech’s total liability for an order is the greater of $100 or the amount you paid through PeptideTech Checkout for it, and it is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. These limits do not apply to death or personal injury, fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or to store credit promised in these terms. You do not indemnify PeptideTech under these terms.

Governing law

Icelandic law governs these terms to the extent permitted. Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law where you live does not allow you to waive. You can bring a claim where you live as described below, never only in Iceland.

Disputes: arbitration and your right to opt out

Please write to cs@peptidetech.is first; if we do not resolve a dispute within 30 days, either side may start a case, and the 30 days do not count against any time limit. Unless you opt out, you and PeptideTech agree to resolve disputes by individual binding arbitration, not in court, and you give up the right to sue in court and to a jury trial. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) administers it under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with any hearing in your home county (outside the United States, by video), or by video if you choose, and with a filing fee from you no higher than AAA’s consumer limit; PeptideTech pays the rest of AAA’s fees. You and we may bring claims only individually, not as a class or representative. This does not waive any substantive right under federal law or the law of the state or country where you live, and the arbitrator can award what a court could award on an individual claim. Exceptions: either side may use small-claims court, and a request for public injunctive relief goes to court (any arbitrable part goes first). If 25 or more similar demands are filed, AAA’s own mass arbitration rules apply and AAA may group them in batches. Opt out within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing cs@peptidetech.is with your order or account email and the words “opt out”; no reason is needed. If this section is held unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to a court where you live. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

Changes to these terms

Each order is under the version you accept when you place it: checkout records that version, the time and your IP address, and asks you to accept a new version before you pay. A new version never reaches an earlier order, a claim that already arose, a dispute already pending or credit already issued. A change to the arbitration section does not apply to an earlier order or claim unless you separately agree to it. We email account holders at least 30 days before a new version of these terms is used.
