doses of CJC-1295 (DAC) used in research
Never approved; human evidence is two phase 1 studies in healthy adults (single doses of 30-250 mcg/kg; repeat doses of 20-60 mcg/kg weekly or every 2 weeks), a single-dose GH-pulsatility study in healthy men, and a terminated phase 2 trial in HIV visceral obesity that posted no doses or results (NCT00267527). These are the amounts specific labels and studies used, linked to each source. They are references, not recommendations; a prescription label takes priority.

| Phase 1 multiple-dose study (JCEM 2006): 20-60 mcg/kg phase 1 trial · 2006 · 16352683 | 24 healthy adults in four cohorts of 6 (5 active, 1 placebo); ages 21-61 across both studies | 60 mcg/kg every 2 weeks (2 injections, days 0 and 14) 49 days of follow-up Doses from the full-text Methods: group 1 received 30 mcg/kg on days 0 and 14, group 2 60 mcg/kg on days 0 and 14, group 3 30 mcg/kg on days 0, 7 and 14, and group 4 20 mcg/kg on days 0, 7 and 14. IGF-I stayed above baseline for up to 28 days after multiple doses. The authors reported it safe and generally well tolerated, particularly at 30 and 60 mcg/kg; injection-site reactions occurred in all active-treated subjects. | subcutaneous |
| Phase 1 single ascending dose (JCEM 2006): 30-250 mcg/kg phase 1 trial · 2006 · 16352683 | healthy adults, 4 cohorts of 6 (5 active, 1 placebo) plus an added cohort of 18 at 125 mcg/kg | 250 mcg/kg single dose 28 days of follow-up Single doses of 30, 60, 125 and 250 mcg/kg: mean GH rose 2- to 10-fold for 6 days or more and IGF-I 1.5- to 3-fold for 9-11 days; half-life 5.8-8.1 days. Headache, diarrhoea and vasodilatory reactions were more common at 125 and 250 mcg/kg; adverse events at 250 mcg/kg were moderate, while 125 mcg/kg was considered well tolerated. | subcutaneous |
| Pulsatility study: single 60 or 90 mcg/kg dose human pilot study · 2006 · 17018654 | healthy men aged 20-40 years | 90 mcg/kg single dose GH pulsatility assessed by 20-minute sampling over 12 hours before and 1 week after a single 60 or 90 mcg/kg injection. Trough GH rose 7.5-fold, mean GH 46% and IGF-I 45% with pulsatility preserved; responses did not differ significantly between the two doses. | subcutaneous |

10 units on a U-100 syringe is 0.1 mL. Every cell is exact arithmetic: amount ÷ water.
what the numbers mean · where they come from
terms and sources
- Label amount or measured amount. The calculator starts from the amount printed on the vial. A lot certificate’s measured content (net peptide content, in mg) can replace it for the vial that was tested. HPLC purity is a share of peak area, not a mass, so a purity-only correction is shown as an estimate. See HPLC, certificate of analysis and how to read a peptide COA.
- Concentration. Amount in the vial ÷ water added. Terms: reconstitution, bacteriostatic water, lyophilized.
- Syringe units. A volume: 0.01 mL per unit on a U-100 syringe, 0.025 mL on U-40. Units say nothing about the compound until the concentration is known.
- Cost per draw. Vial price × amount per draw ÷ vial amount, from the price per mg of a current offer. Offers come from the CJC-1295 (DAC) price comparison; certificates from the COA library.
Arithmetic only, on the numbers entered. Amounts from labels or trials are cited references, not recommendations; PeptideTech does not give personal use instructions and does not test products.
