doses of Kisspeptin-10 used in research
Never approved; human dosing is from investigator-led physiology studies in men: intravenous boluses of 0.01-3 mcg/kg and infusions of 1.5-4 mcg/kg/h. These are the amounts specific labels and studies used, linked to each source. They are references, not recommendations; a prescription label takes priority.
| source | who | amount and schedule | route |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dose-response in men (JCEM 2011): 0.01-3 mcg/kg IV bolus human pilot study · 2011 · 21632807 | healthy men | 1 mcg/kg single bolus IV boluses of 0.01 to 3.0 mcg/kg: LH stimulation was maximal at 1 mcg/kg (4.1 to 12.4 IU/L at 30 min, n=6), and 3 mcg/kg gave a smaller response than 1 mcg/kg. | intravenous |
| Infusion in men: 1.5 or 4 mcg/kg/h for up to 22.5 h human pilot study · 2011 · 21632807 | healthy men (n=4 per infusion rate) | 4 mcg/kg per hour by continuous infusion up to 22.5 hours 4 mcg/kg/h for 22.5 h raised LH from 5.4 to 20.8 IU/L and testosterone from 16.6 to 24.0 nmol/L; the lower 1.5 mcg/kg/h rate raised LH from 5.2 to 14.1 IU/L and LH pulse frequency from 0.7 to 1.0 pulses/h. | intravenous |
| Type 2 diabetes proof-of-concept: 0.3 mcg/kg bolus human pilot study · 2013 · 23153270 | 5 hypotestosteronaemic men with type 2 diabetes and 7 age-matched healthy men | 0.3 mcg/kg single bolus (a separate 11-hour infusion at 4 mcg/kg/h followed 5 days later) The 0.3 mcg/kg bolus raised mean LH in both groups; an 11-hour 4 mcg/kg/h infusion in four diabetic men raised LH from 3.9 to 20.7 IU/L and testosterone from 8.5 to 11.4 nmol/L. | intravenous |

10 units on a U-100 syringe is 0.1 mL. Every cell is exact arithmetic: amount ÷ water.
what the numbers mean · where they come from
terms and sources
- Label amount or measured amount. The calculator starts from the amount printed on the vial. A lot certificate’s measured content (net peptide content, in mg) can replace it for the vial that was tested. HPLC purity is a share of peak area, not a mass, so a purity-only correction is shown as an estimate. See HPLC, certificate of analysis and how to read a peptide COA.
- Concentration. Amount in the vial ÷ water added. Terms: reconstitution, bacteriostatic water, lyophilized.
- Syringe units. A volume: 0.01 mL per unit on a U-100 syringe, 0.025 mL on U-40. Units say nothing about the compound until the concentration is known.
- Cost per draw. Vial price × amount per draw ÷ vial amount, from the price per mg of a current offer. Offers come from the Kisspeptin-10 price comparison; certificates from the COA library.
Arithmetic only, on the numbers entered. Amounts from labels or trials are cited references, not recommendations; PeptideTech does not give personal use instructions and does not test products.
